Sawasae Bunisari is a luxurious residential building project, situated in Cijambe, Bandung, and exclusively designed for a private client. The building takes the form of a picturesque villa, nestled on the client’s family-owned land and surrounded by lush rice fields.
The architects have ingeniously adapted the design of the villa to the terrain’s uneven contours, resulting in two structures that are split and arranged in a V-shape to optimize the views from the indoor spaces. Full-height glass walls flood the interior with natural light and offer panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
The interior of the building is a seamless blend of concrete and wood, featuring comfortable living spaces including a bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathrooms. The outdoor area between the two buildings is a communal space, featuring a gathering table and a lush roof garden, which blends the building with its surroundings.
The outdoor area features wooden flooring and stone walls, creating a harmonious connection between the villa and nature.
An abundance of trees, both in the upper garden and lower outdoor areas, further emphasize this connection. The building also boasts a stunning pool, positioned at the edge of the deck and offering breathtaking views of the surrounding scenery, transforming the villa into a private resort.
